Update on 2026 Offshore Beach Renourishment Project

August 5, 2026 – After the crew assessed the weather conditions yesterday morning, the dredge prepared for tow from the Charleston harbor out to the Isle of Palms borrow area. The dredge began pumping sand again around 3:00 pm (08/04).
