July 30, 2026 – Beach crews installed a section of HDPE pipeline and the y-valve, allowing us to minimize our footprint on the beach. The rear fence has now moved up to station 288+00 (Beach Club Villas). They are currently pumping sand around station 291+00 (at the property line between Mariner's Walk and Shipwatch).
The work area currently spans most of Mariners Walk and they are Moving north with two lines running now. They installed the Y valve, which will allow the dredge to keep pumping while they add new pipe on.
The dredge placed an estimated 31,389 cyds of material on the beach at a rate of 1,500 cyds/hr yesterday (July 29, 2026).
