April 7, 2026 – New drainage has been installed at 22nd Avenue, and a swale has been graded in front of 2200 & 2202 Waterway Blvd to improve water flow through the new drainage system. The City has also been coordinating a cleaning of the outfall pipes as part of this work.
The contractor has moved to 23rd Avenue and is awaiting permits to cut the road. Over the next couple of weeks, work will shift to 25th Avenue for additional drainage installation. Following that, the path from 21st to 25th Avenue will be demolished and repaved.
The project remains on track to have construction completed before July.
