Update on 2026 Offshore Beach Renourishment Project

September 8, 2026 – The dredge is down and staged in Charleston Harbor due to foul weather offshore. Crews are performing routine maintenance on the dredge. So far approximately 170,000 cubic yards have been placed in Reach 2 of the 800,000 total.
