August 27, 2026 – Marinex estimates that work in Reach 1 will be completed within the next four to five days. Crews expect to transition to Reach 2 around September 1, with sand placement beginning as soon as 12 hours after Reach 1 is completed.
All sandbags have been removed from Reach 1. Sandbag removal will continue near Beachwood East next.
There are no remaining sea turtle nests within any of the project reaches this season.
